Hi, I’m Aisling

In 2016, life was non-stop—jetting around the world for work, all while trying to keep up with my two kiddos and husband back in Ireland. My life? A mad dash of planes, trains, and, well, loads of stress. Eventually, I switched jobs for something more family-friendly, but just when things started looking up, my body had other plans. Pain and exhaustion became my new normal, leading to a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis.

I’ve always thought the crazy stress tipped the scales. When I finally slowed down, my body basically said, “That’s it!” That wake-up call got me seriously into complementary therapies, something I’d always been curious about but never fully dived into. Finding no one who really got RA or autoimmune stuff, I rolled up my sleeves and started learning—aromatherapy, reflexology, massage, EFT/Tapping, sound therapy, coaching—you name it.

Now, I’m in the driver’s seat of my life. Sure, RA is still around, but it doesn’t call the shots. I’m laughing more, making plans, and living in the moment. This whole turnaround is exactly why I created the Stress Relief Roadmap. It’s for you—the gal feeling swamped by RA, craving some calm in the storm. Q: How long does the course take to complete?

A: The course is made up of nine bite-sized lessons, designed to fit into your busy life. You can complete it at your own pace, and return to it often! But setting aside 20 minutes a day can help you get through it in about a week.

Q: Do I need any special tools or equipment?

A: No, this is a beginner and budget-friendly program. I will, of course, share some useful tools e.g. essential oils but you don’t have to purchase them all. You can pick and choose what, if anything, you want to purchase.

Q: Is this course suitable for beginners?

A: Absolutely! Whether you’re new to stress management techniques or have tried some in the past, this course starts with the basics and guides you through more advanced strategies, all tailored for living with RA.

Q: I don’t have Rheumatoid Arthritis but have another autoimmune condition. Will this work for me?

A: Absolutely, while the content is geared towards RA, anybody will benefit from the tools and information shared. 

Q: I’ve tried working with holistic therapists before and they encouraged me to stop taking medication. What’s your approach?

A: I will never encourage you to stop your medication. That is solely a decision between you and your doctor. The Autoimmune Circle only shows you how to support yourself using complementary therapies. As an aside, I have a BSc in Chemistry & MSc in Biopharmaceutical Science so I value and appreciate the power of medication. I believe these wonderful therapies that I share with you should be used to complement your health care plan, whatever you choose that to be.
